2009 Indianapolis Sustainability Awards

Join us as we honor Indianapolis' environmental leaders.

Individuals and organizations throughout Indianapolis are tackling sustainability like never before by planting rain gardens, starting recycling programs, organizing neighborhood cleanups and more. The Indianapolis Sustainability Awards were created to honor these community leaders who are working to make our city a healthier, more vibrant place to call home.

The Indianapolis Sustainability Awards are designed to inspire innovation, showcase impact, reward leadership and promote education around the principles of sustainability. Five awards will be given to honor excellence in each of the following categories:

• Water
• Land
• Air
• Energy
• Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Any organization or individual is encouraged to apply; no project is too small.

Presented by the Indianapolis Office of Sustainability, McKinney Foundation and the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce
